Andrew Quarless TE Penn State

Strengths:
Ideal height and overall size. Impressive speed for a tight end. Fairly reliable hands. Experienced lining up in the backfield and on the line of scrimmage. Stayed out of trouble in 2009 and his performance improved on the field as well.
Weaknesses:
Arrested and suspended for a DUI and possession of marijuana in 2008. Arrested for underage drinking in 2007. Never reached his full potential. Below average blocking ability; effort appears to be an issue at times.
Comments:
Quarless definitely has the potential to develop into a starting tight end due to his athleticism and pass-catching ability. However, there are serious concerns about his off-field antics which will cause teams to think twice before bringing him aboard. He's a late-round sleeper who could prove to be a steal, but he could just as easily get lost in the shuffle if he doesn't remain dedicated to the game and put his partying days behind him.
