Koa Misi OLB Utah #41

Ht: 6'3
Wt: 251

Strengths:
Prototypical size. Great instincts; an all-around fundamental football player. Has experience at defensive end and linebacker. A decent pass rusher. A perfect fit at strong-side linebacker in 4-3 scheme. May have the size to play outside in a 3-4 system. Very reliable tackler. A hard worker; a team captain.
Weaknesses:
Speed is marginal. Limited experience at linebacker; primarily lined up with his hand on the ground at Utah. Missed time in 2009 with a back injury.
Comments:
Last name pronounced mee-see... Misi is one of the best players in this year's draft class that didn't get much attention at the collegiate level. He was playing out of position at defensive end at Utah. He's too small to play defensive end at the next level, but should have the athleticism to make a smooth transition to linebacker in the pros. He could come off the board as high as the mid 2nd round, and likely no later than the mid 3rd.
