Dekoda Watson OLB Florida State #36

Ht: 6'2
Wt: 240

Strengths:
Very well built. A physical defender. Above average speed and all-around athleticism. Has the ability to run with tight ends in coverage. Shows good instincts. May be able to play both the will and mike linebacker positions.
Weaknesses:
Suffered a variety of injuries throughout his career (groin, elbow, hamstring. Suspended in 2009 for his role in Florida State's well-publicized academic scandal.
Comments:
Watson was a productive college linebacker who projects as a quality NFL player but he definitely comes with some questions. Teams will be curious to learn more about his role in FSU's academic scandal. His history of minor injuries also raises a red flag. His potential versatility makes him a decent late-round prospect who could someday develop into a starter.
