Strengths:
Elite instincts. Always around the football. Plays with a mean streak, but is rarely overaggressive. An all-around smart football player. Very reliable warp-up tackler. Looks good in man and zone coverage.
Weaknesses:
Missed 2008 torn ACL and was unable to get on the field for 15 months. Athleticism was marginal to begin with and certainly didn't improve after the knee injury. Doesn't have the strength to shed blocks with consistency.
Comments:
Lee is the type of player that will always be able to contribute, even if he fails to win a starting job. He's a hard worker and a coach favorite. He doesn't have the elite size or athleticism that will guarantee him a starting job, but he's certainly worth a 3rd or 4th round selection. His ceiling isn't high, but he's a very low-risk prospect.
