Strengths:
Came to USC labeled as the "next Reggie Bush" and handled the pressure well. Excellent speed and quickness. Hits holes with a burst. Nice change-of-direction ability. A reliable receiver. Experienced as a kick returner. Strong enough to occasionally run inside.
Weaknesses:
Has a history of minor injuries; sprained toe, hyper-extended elbow. Doesn't have a strong build; won't be able to handle the pounding of a feature-back in the NFL.
Comments:
McKnight never fully lived up to expectations at USC, in part due to a string of injuries which limited his ability to stay on the field. He won't be a starter at the next level, but could be a nice second option for a team looking for change-of-back pack to compliment a more physical runner.
