Demaryius Thomas WR Georgia Tech #8

Ht: 6'3
Wt: 229

Strengths:
Elite size. Has the strength to fight through press coverage. Impressive leaping ability; has the ability to go up and make plays in traffic. Has a knack for making difficult catches.
Weaknesses:
Speed is marginal. Played in the triple-option offense the past two seasons and has a limited knowledge of the routes he'll be expected to run in the NFL. Hands are inconsistent; has a tendency to catch with his body and drop too many easy catches.
Comments:
Thomas' size makes him an intriguing prospect, but there are serious concerns about his ability to transition to the pro game. He likely won't be an instant-impact player due to the fact that he'll need plenty of coaching on his route running. His limited speed further adds doubt to his ability to take his game to the next level. He does have plenty of upside though, and could be worst a late 2nd-round pick if the team is willing to be patient and let him develop.
