Bottom Line
Winston is probably a developmental project who is still learning the nuance of the role, but he thrived in the deep secondary during his one year as a starter in 2023. He could potentially start immediately in a free safety role, but it remains to be seen what else he can do given his lack of experience in coverage. He has versatile traits, but we just haven’t seen enough of him in the strong safety role.
