Tyrell Sutton RB Northwestern #19

Ht: 5'8
Wt: 210

Strengths:
Well built for his size. Tough to bring down because of his compact build; will break through most arm tackles with ease. Very productive for a traditionally weak program. Does just about everything well. One of the better blockers in this draft class. A very reliable receiver. Very quick feet.
Weaknesses:
Durability is a major concern. Missed time in 2008 with a wrist injury. Missed time in 2007 with leg and ankle injuries. A four year starter; which means he comes with a lot of mileage. Doesn't have breakaway speed which is a concern given his size. Despite his good technique and effort as a blocker, his lack of size will hold him back in the NFL.
Comments:
Sutton's lack of size will ultimately hold him back from being a starter at the next level. His stock is further hurt by his history of injuries. A four year starter is valued at certain positions, but teams would prefer to select a running back with a little less wear and tear. He could end up being a late round steal, but its also possible his best days are behind him.
