Strengths:
An elite playmaker with a nose for the football. Excellent hands (7 interceptions in 2008). Experience at cornerback and safety. A fairly reliable tackler. Willing to step up and make plays against the run. Has the ability to play strong or free safety.
Weaknesses:
Undersized. Speed is marginal. Fairly serious injury concerns; suffered a fractured foot in February 2006, and re-injured it later that year. Suffered a wrist injury in 2007.
Comments:
Goddard lacks the measurables that earn you a place in the first few rounds, but its hard to overlook his production. He is a high-energy player that gives his best effort on the field. He's a safe late round pick that should be able to make team based on his ability to play special teams.
