Strengths:
Ideal height and overall size for a pro quarterback. Accuracy is above average. Throws a nice deep ball. Mechanics are polished. Decent athleticism for his size. A high character guy and a great team leader.
Weaknesses:
Limited experience as a starter; benched in favor of Terrelle Pryor in 2008. Gets rattled under pressure; can be forced into making mistakes.
Comments:
Boeckman has the physical tools to be a decent NFL quarterback. Given his lack of experience, he will be a late round pick at best, but there will be someone willing to give him a shot. With some work, he could develop into a reliable backup.
