Strengths:
Ideal size. Plenty of experience; a four year starter. Fundamentally sound.
Weaknesses:
Below average quickness. Strength isn't what you would expect for his size. Offers very little in pass rush situations. Too slow to play defensive end in the 4-3; not strong enough to play tackle. May be limited to playing defensive end in a 3-4 system.
Comments:
Egboh has very little upside and doesn't really fit into most systems. He may be useless to a team that runs a 4-3 defense. If he bulks up, however, he could be an adequate backup defensive end in the 3-4. His size and experience could very well lead to a 4th or 5th round selection if the right team decides it needs his skill set.
