Strengths:
Excellent size/speed combination for a safety. Experienced on punt returns. Adequate ball skills. Experienced at both safety positions and at cornerback. Reliable tackler; not afraid to step up against the run.
Weaknesses:
Very inconsistent. At times looks like the best player on the field, and but will completely disappear at other times. Strength is marginal. Had right knee surgery following the 2008 season.
Comments:
Wiley has tremendous upside, but his stock has fallen because of injuries and inconsistent play. He could be a steal in the 4th or 5th round, where he will have great value because of his versatility and ability to play on special teams.
