Strengths:
Excellent size and strength. A four-year starter. Experience at outside linebacker and defensive end.
Weaknesses:
Has a large frame with room to add weight. Struggles to shed blocks against bigger linemen; doesn't have many pass rush moves to work with. Relies on beating lineman with his speed, which is only marginal. Struggled to remain academically eligible.
Comments:
Williams doesn't really stand out physically with the exception of his build. He's strong and physical, but lacks the athleticism to project as an impact player in the NFL. Given his experience at defensive end he'll be a nice fit as a backup for a team running a 3-4 defense.
