Cornelius Ingram TE Florida #7

Ht: 6'4
Wt: 245

Strengths:
Ideal height for a pass-catching tight end. Very reliable hands. Excellent natural athlete. Walked onto the basketball team in 2004. Decent speed. Has the ability to stretch the field when in the right matchup. Gives a solid effort as a blocker. A team captain in 2008.
Weaknesses:
Missed entire 2008 season with a torn ACL. Still very raw; only two years of playing experience at tight end. Blocking technique needs work. Doesn't have the strength to ever be a dominant blocker. Will be 25 in June.
Comments:
Ingram is a gifted natural athlete but he's still learning the tight end position - not something teams like to hear about a prospect that will be 25 by the start of the season. He came to Florida as a quarterback but was moved to tight end upon the arrival of Tim Tebow in 2006. He was making progress as a tight end, but his ACL injury in 2008 was a major setback. He has recovered and has been working out this offseason but it would be tough to justify taking a 24-year-old coming off an ACL injury with only two years of playing experience before the 3rd or 4th round.
