Brandon Gibson WR Washington State #4

Ht: 6'1
Wt: 206

Strengths:
Ideal height. Good overall build. A polished route runner. Experienced on kick returns. Shows good body control. A three-year starter.
Weaknesses:
Speed is only average. Lacks the agility and overall quickness to project as an impact kick returner at the next level. Took a step backwards in production as a senior. Not always consistent; will drops some easy passes.
Comments:
Gibson is one of the more underrated players in this year's draft class in my opinion. His senior year numbers failed to live up to expectations, but it wasn't necessary his fault. Its tough to be productive on a team as bad as the Cougars were in 2008. He is a similar prospect to Ohio State's Brian Robiskie; both receivers lack speed but are polished route runners know how to get open. The difference is Robiskie catches everything in sight, while Gibson will drop some passes.
