Size/Athleticism: 6’1″, 210 pounds. A natural athlete but lacks elite speed.

Separation Skills: Struggles to create separation. Routes are inconsistent and lacks the speed to run away from defenders. Will not be a threat to consistently create separation down the field at the next level.

Ball Skills: Elite ball skills. Shows great concentration to pluck the ball from the air. Consistently catches away from his body when possible. Has shown the ability to snatch the ball from the air away from defenders when competing for jump balls. Knows how to position himself and box out defenders.

Blocking: Gives a consistent effort and has the size to dominate certain matchups.

Intangibles: Rarely a vocal leader but gets along with teammates and coaches and stays out of trouble.

Durability: Suffered brutal season-ending broken leg and dislocated ankle in 2014, but it was a fluke injury. Has been durable otherwise.

Overview: Treadwell’s lack of speed holds him back, especially since he does not consistently run crisp routes. However, he his excellent hands and his ability to compete in traffic makes him a potential No. 1 target at the next level. He has a similar skill set to Dez Bryant—although not as explosive—and should be viewed as a first-round lock. Early in his career he may be best suited to work in the slot while he develops the route technique to be more efficient on the outside.
