Jamar Chaney ILB Mississippi State

Ht: 6'1
Wt: 242

Strengths:
Adequate height. Good overall size and strength. Experience at inside and outside linebacker. Decent athleticism. Looks very fluid dropping back into coverage.
Weaknesses:
Doesn't have great instincts. Makes most of his tackles chasing players down, rather than anticipating where the play is heading. Football smarts may not be there. Suffered a broken leg in 2008.
Comments:
Chaney has the physical tools, but there are concerns about his instincts and his ability to consistently impact the game. He may be better suited as a weak-side linebacker for this reason.
