Greg Hardy DE Mississippi #86

Ht: 6'4
Wt: 279

Strengths:
Prototypical size. Elite athleticism. Quick off the snap. A dominant speed rusher. Adequate strength; uses a bull rush on occasion. Does a decent job against the run and has shown steady improvement in this area.
Weaknesses:
Can't stay healthy. Played sparingly in 2008 due to a stress fracture in his right foot which has required two surgeries, and now has a screw in place. Missed most of his senior year with a broken wrist which also required surgery.
Comments:
Hardy has legitimate 1st-round talent, but there are serious concerns about his ability to stay healthy. The fact that his foot has a screw in it and has required two surgeries is a major red flags. Someone will take a chance on him in the 3rd or 4th round, but its tough to imagine him ever staying on the field long enough to make an impact.
