Donald Butler ILB Washington

Ht: 6'1
Wt: 245

Strengths:
Adequate height and overall size. Experienced at inside and outside linebacker. Very aggressive. Not afraid to mix it up with the big boys on the line of scrimmage. Impressive coverage ability. Team captain in 2009.
Weaknesses:
Didn't really make an impact until his senior year; could be a one-year wonder. Pass-rushing ability is lacking. Strength is only marginal; doesn't have the ability to consistently shed blocks.
Comments:
Butler had a great senior year and an impressive offseason. He went unnoticed for much of his career at Washington, but made major strides as a senior under new defensive coordinator Nick Holt. He still has a ways to go, but his instincts and aggressive style of play make him an intriguing prospect.
