Anthony Dixon RB Mississippi State #24

Ht: 6'1
Wt: 245

Strengths:
Elite size and strength. A powerful inside runner. Has the ability to consistently break tackles and is difficult to bring down. A very reliable receiver out of the backfield.
Weaknesses:
Arrested in July 2009 on a DUI charge and was suspended for one game. Lacks the speed to break off the big runs. Not very elusive in the open field; prefers to run guys over rather than make them miss.
Comments:
Dixon ranks as one of the all-time greats at Mississippi State, and is the the schools all-time leading rusher. He could be the first Mississippi State running back selected in the first two rounds of the draft since the Dolphins took J.J. Johnson in 1999. While his size and power running style are attractive, he may not have the all-around athleticism to be the type of feature back that teams are looking for these days. His style is similar to former Steelers and Packers RB/FB Najeh Davenport.
