Pat White QB West Virginia #5

Ht: 6'0
Wt: 190

Strengths:
Elite speed and athleticism. A major threat running the football. Has the athletic ability to make the transition to running back or wide receiver at the next level. Adequate arm strength. Took major strides in the passing game his senior year.
Weaknesses:
Below average height. Lacks the strength to take a hit; durability may be a concern. Played in a gimmick offense at West Virginia; will need to learn a brand new system in the NFL. Accuracy is only average. Mechanics are shaky.
Comments:
White made huge improvements as a quarterback this past season and some teams may be willing to select him as a quarterback. Its certainly worth giving him a look under center, but ultimately I believe he will need to move to wide receiver. Teams will have very different grades on him depending on what position they view him as, but I would not select him before the 4th round.
