Marcus Freeman OLB Ohio State #1

Ht: 6'1
Wt: 235

Strengths:
Elite athlete. Very strong. Reliable tackler. Above average speed. The type of player that is all over the field making plays. Very good in coverage for a linebacker. Tough player; willing to play through pain.
Weaknesses:
Undersized. Lacks the height or the bulk to really stand out. Can be taken out of plays by bigger, stronger offensive linemen. Not a great pass rusher due to his lack of size. Durability is a serious concern; missed all of 2005 with a knee injury, was slowed by ankle and knee injuries in 2007 and 2008 but did not miss any time.
Comments:
Freeman isn't a workout warrior that will rise up the charts during the offseason, but he is a very reliable linebacker. He does everything well on the field, even if he doesn't stand out in any one area. He would be a very safe second round pick for a team looking for someone to contribute right away.
