Louis Murphy WR Florida #9

Ht: 6'3
Wt: 202

Strengths:
Ideal height for an NFL receiver. Elite speed; has the ability to consistently get separation and stretch the field. A threat to make plays after the catch.
Weaknesses:
Not nearly as physical as his size would allow. A little on the skinny side. Doesn't block. Inconsistent hands. Doesn't have good technique. Not a great route runner; relies too much on pure speed. Had knee surgery following the 2008 season.
Comments:
Murphy looks like a classic case of a decent college receiver that will flame out in the NFL. His size and speed created mismatches in coverage at the college level, and as a result he relied too heavily on his natural ability. He needs plenty of work before he'll be a contributor in the NFL. He's worth taking a chance on in the 4th or 5th round, but don't expect much from him.
