Louis Delmas S Western Michigan #9

Ht: 6'0
Wt: 202

Strengths:
Adequate height and overall size. Decent athleticism. Good ball skills. Has a knack for coming up with the big play. Experienced as a kick returner. A willing tackler.
Weaknesses:
Hasn't faced much top competition. Isn't a very reliable tackler, but does give a solid effort. Not a very physical defender.
Comments:
Delmas has generated a lot of hype leading up to the draft, perhaps because he's a bit of an unknown and people are just looking for something positive out of this very weak class of safeties. He's a solid option in the 3rd round, but its likely someone will reach for him in the 2nd because of the lack of legitimate prospects at safety. He's overrated, but definitely has the potential to develop into an adequate starting free safety in the pros.
