Josh Vaughan RB Richmond #32

Ht: 6'0
Wt: 234

Strengths:
Excellent size and strength A very powerful downhill runner. Very productive as a senior. Only a one-year starter so he doesn't have much wear-and-tear.
Weaknesses:
Limited experience; did not become a starter until 2008 when he took over for Tim Hightower. Hasn't faced elite competition. Below average speed.
Comments:
Vaughan more than adequately filled in for Tim Hightower in 2008, leading Richmond to the FCS National Championship. He is a similar player to Hightower with elite size and strength. Vaughan lacks the speed and experience to come off the board where Hightower did, but he is certainly worth considering as a 7th round pick or a free agent.
