James Casey TE Rice #12

Ht: 6'3
Wt: 246

Strengths:
A gifted natural athlete. Spent three years as a pitcher in the White Sox farm system. Very reliable hands. Emerged as a consistent target in the passing game in 2008. A polished route runner, especially for someone with limited experience.
Weaknesses:
Only two years of experience in college football. Will turn 25 in September. Has a long, lanky build. Looks more like an oversized receiver than a tight end. Stats are inflated by Rice's spread offense.
Comments:
Casey definitely has the potential to be an impact player at the next level, but its difficult to determine exactly where he fits best. He could fill a number of different roles depending on the system he ends up in. His value is clearly as a receiver, however, and will be best suited playing in an offense that is willing to play to his strengths.
