Curtis Painter QB Purdue #12

Ht: 6'3
Wt: 222

Strengths:
Adequate size. Above average arm strength. A four-year starter. Put up big numbers in Purdue's pass-first offense. Great accuracy on short throws. Throws a very catchable ball; throws a nice spiral and puts good touch on his passes.
Weaknesses:
Makes too many poor decisions, especially when under pressure. Missed time with a shoulder injury in 2008. Mobility is below average; not a very good athlete.
Comments:
Painter has the basic tools to take his game to the next level. He is a similar prospect to Kyle Orton who has exceeded expectations with the Bears. Painter's biggest flaw (decision making) can be fixed, meaning he has a decent amount of upside.
