Cullen Harper QB Clemson #10

Ht: 6'3
Wt: 227

Strengths:
Adequate height. Good accuracy on short throws. Smart with the football. One of the most productive quarterbacks in school history. Experience under center and in the shotgun. Adequate mobility.
Weaknesses:
Very disappointing senior year; lost his starting job at one point to Willie Korn. Tends to lock onto a receiver (usually Aaron Kelly) and holds onto the ball too long sometimes as a result. Arm strength is only average.
Comments:
Harper's stock plummeted this past season, but all the blame should not land on him. Clemson has been a dysfunctional program for a few years now and it reached its boiling point this season, leading to the firing of Tommy Bowden. Harper likely isn't starter material, but he could be an adequate backup in the pros. He's a similar prospect to former Clemson quarterback Charlie Whitehurst who has been with the Chargers for the past few seasons.
