Cody Brown OLB Connecticut #50

Ht: 6'2
Wt: 242

Strengths:
Very good all-around athlete. Quick off the snap. Does a nice job of staying low and using good leverage to force his way into the backfield. Adequate speed.
Weaknesses:
Played defensive end at UConn. Lacks ideal height. Somewhat skinny; would benefit from bulking up a little. Not a consistent impact player; disappears from games when facing tougher assignments.
Comments:
Brown is too small to play defensive end in the pros and will need to make the transition to outside linebacker. He has some upside as a pass rusher, but lacks the instincts to be a solid all-around linebacker. His best fit will be as a pass rush specialist in a 3-4 defense.
