Aaron Curry OLB Wake Forest #59

Senior
Ht: 6'2
Wt: 246

Strengths:
Ideal size for an outside linebacker. An exceptional pass rusher. Shows the ability to shed blockers and get into the backfield with consistency. Adequate speed. Very reliable tackler; wraps up the ball carrier and doesn't let go. Shows good instincts; locates the ball carrier and takes good angles to get there. Decent balls skills for a linebacker. Shows good technique in coverage.
Weaknesses:
Doesn't have elite speed, agility or quickness; won't be able to cover more athletic tight ends at the next level.
Comments:
Curry is the best prospect to come out of Wake Forest in quite some time. He already has the body of an NFL linebacker and should make an immediate impact at the next level. His biggest strength is his ability to get into the backfield and make plays. He has the strength to shed blocks, and the speed to get past linemen and catch the ball carrier. He was a three-year starter that only missed one game (suspended for missing a class), and was arguably the best all-around player in the ACC as a senior.
