| Strengths: | ||
| Impressive size and strength. Elite straight-line speed (4.38 forty at combine). Plenty of experience as a receiver; had more receptions than rushing attempts in 2009. A good all-around athlete; played quarterback in high school. A versatile player who would make an ideal backup at the next level. Experienced on kickoff returns. | ||
| Weaknesses: | ||
| Never carried the full load in college; only 233 career rushing attempts. Already 23 years old. Suffered a dislocated shoulder in 2008. Suffered an ankle injury in 2009. | ||

| Fannin caught the attention of everyone at the combine when he ran a sub-4.4 forty, a truly impressive time for a 230-pound running back. His athleticism is obvious, which is intriguing when coupled with his impressive size. However, it’s tough to judge a player who was never a full-time starter in college. Fannin clearly has the potential to be a productive player at the next level, but it’s tough to project him as anything more than a backup. His versatility as runner, receiver and return specialist makes him an attractive option in the late rounds and he should have no problem making an NFL roster. | ||
