Justin Rogers

Justin Rogers scouting report

Justin Rogers CB Richmond
Ht: 6’0″

Wt: 180

Strengths:
Extremely productive FCS cornerback. Elite playmaker with 12 career interceptions, including seven as a sophomore in 2008. An aggressive defender, who does a nice job reading the quarterback.
Weaknesses:
Trusts his athleticism too much which will get him into trouble at the next level. Undersized; lacks the bulk to play press coverage and will probably be limited to playing nickel corner as a result.
Comments:
Rogers is your typical undersized, athletic cover corner who will be limited to playing in the nickel role at the next level. He has NFL ability, but players with his skills are easy to come by. He’s a good athlete, but just doesn’t do anything to really make himself stand out. He has some upside if he’s able to bulk up, but will still probably fall to the late rounds.
