Darvin Adams

Darvin Adams scouting report

Darvin Adams WR Auburn
Ht: 6’2″

Wt: 190

Strengths:
Prototypical height. Good leaping ability. Decent route running ability; quick with his cuts and does a nice job shaking defenders.
Weaknesses:
Lacks the speed to be a consistent deep threat. Doesn’t have the strength to be a quality possession receiver; needs to add 10-15 pounds of muscle or he will get pushed around by more physical corners in the NFL. Below average blocking ability; lacks technique, strength and effort.
Comments:
Adams was productive at Auburn over the past two seasons, but he needs a lot of work before he’s ready for the NFL. Players lacking both strength and speed often struggle to find a role at the next level. He has the frame to add some weight, however, so he could be worth a late-round pick by a team willing to invest a year or two into his development.
