FINAL Mock Draft – Updated April 26
1. Colts – Andrew Luck – QB – Stanford
Colts have already announced Luck as the pick.
2. Redskins – Robert Griffin – QB – Baylor
Griffin has publicly stated Redskins already told him he’s their guy.
3. Vikings – Morris Claiborne – CB – LSU
Surprised by this late development, but it definitely fills a need.
4. Browns – Trent Richardson – RB – Alabama
Has to be either Richardson or Blackmon here. They desperately need playmakers.
5. Bucs – Mark Barron – S – Alabama
Bucs are less than please with Vikings for taking Claiborne. They turn to next best defensive back.
6. Rams – Justin Blackmon – WR – Oklahoma State
Rams have been locked in on Blackmon for a long time, but would take Fletcher Cox if he’s gone.
7. Jaguars – Luke Kuechly – LB – Boston College
Kuechly is the prototypical high character, fundamentally sound player Gene Smith loves.
8. Dolphins – Ryan Tannehill – QB – Texas A&M
When the owner asks for a QB, he usually gets it.
9. Panthers – Quinton Coples – DE – North Carolina
Cox and Gilmore are in the mix, but Coples has a slight edge.
10. Bills – Matt Kalil – OT – USC
May need to trade up to get him, but Bills are very high on Kalil.
11. Chiefs – Dontari Poe – DT – Memphis
Romeo Crennel’s desperately needs a nose tackle to anchor the front seven.
12. Seahawks – Chandler Jones – DE – Syracuse
Jones has more upside as a pass rusher than anyone in this class.
13. Cardinals – Riley Reiff – OT – Iowa
Not a sexy pick, but Cards need to upgrade the offensive line. Don’t rule out Floyd here either.
14. Cowboys – Michael Brockers – DT – LSU
Cowboys definitely addressing front seven. Chandler Jones an option if he’s here.
15. Eagles – Fletcher Cox – DT – Mississippi State
Have to trade up to make this happen, but Eagles are very high on Cox.
16. Jets – Melvin Ingram – LB – South Carolina
Jets want Richardson, but may have to settle for Ingram. Either way, they trade up for someone.
