Eugene Clifford scouting report

Eugene Clifford S Tennessee State
Ht: 6’2″

Wt: 200

Strengths:
Impressive size and strength. Elite athlete. A tough, physical player. A hard hitter but also a reliable wrap-up tackler. Decent ball skills.
Weaknesses:
Fairly serious character concerns. Suspended multiple times while at Ohio State. Arrested for assault in 2008, which led to him transferring to Tennessee State. Limited experience against top competition, although he did play as a true freshman at Ohio State.
Comments:
Clifford was highly recruited out of high school and appeared to have a bright future at Ohio State, but only lasted one year in Columbus. After transferring to Tennessee State he made an immediate impact and was one of the better defensive players at that level of play. He is a character risk, but has enough talent to be well worth the risk in the late rounds.
