Jaiquawn Jarrett scouting report

Jaiquawn Jarrett S Temple
Ht: 6’0″

Wt: 200

Strengths:
Starter for 3.5 years. Good overall size. A very smart player; always seems to be in position to make a play. Patient in zone coverage; doesn’t bite early on make fakes. Good ball skills; 9 career interceptions. Puts in a good effort against the run.
Weaknesses:
Limited strength; tackling technique is decent but he’ll struggle to bring down bigger running backs and tight ends. Hasn’t been tested against elite competition.
Comments:
Jarrett is a solid option in the middle rounds of the draft. He’ll be limited to playing free safety in the pros due to his lack of elite size and strength, but he should provide quality depth in the secondary and on special teams.
