Curt Porter scouting report

Curt Porter OT Jacksonville State
Ht: 6’7″

Wt: 308

Strengths:
Prototypical size. A versatile player; experience at tackle, guard and center; primarily played left tackle.
Weaknesses:
Limited athletically. Probably will be forced to play guard or right tackle in the pros. Doesn’t have overpowering strength.
Comments:
Porter made a name for himself in Jacksonville State’s win over Ole Miss in 2010. While primarily playing left tackle, the Gamecocks moved him to guard where he looked very good lined up opposite nose tackle Jerrell Powe. His upside is severely limited by his lack of athleticism, but his versatility and experience along the line is a bonus that should land him a job as a backup somewhere.
