Brandon Bair scouting report

Brandon Bair DE Oregon
Ht: 6’6″

Wt: 275

Strengths:
Elite size; looks like a prototypical 3-4 defensive end. Capable of playing tackle in a 4-3 scheme. Decent athleticism; a converted tight end. Made significant strides in 2010, nearly doubling his tackle-for-loss total. A mature player who spend two years on a church mission; married with a daughter.
Weaknesses:
Already 26 years old; upside is limited as a result. Lacks the strong based to excel against the run. Doesn’t have the elite athleticism to be much of a pass rusher at the next level; only five career sacks in college.
Comments:
Bair could be a nice addition in the mid rounds for a team looking for someone capable of providing depth immediately. However, some teams may simply steer clear because of his age. At 26 years old there’s very little room for him to improve.
