Buster Skrine scouting report

Buster Skrine CB Chattanooga
Ht: 5’10″

Wt: 185

Elite speed; can turn and run with any receiver. Great leaping ability. Does a nice job turning and reacting to the ball rather than strictly playing his man. Impressive leaping ability.
Limited experience against top receivers. Undersized; struggles when matched up with taller, more physical receivers.
Skrine (pronounced “screen”) is an elite athlete who looks like a perfect fit as a nickel corner in the NFL. He has the athleticism to stay with anyone, but his lack of size and overall bulk limits his upside. He’s one of the better small-school prospects in this draft class and should be a solid mid-round pick.
