| Strengths: | ||
| Adequate height and good overall size. Very productive player in a pass-first offense who made significant strides in senior year. Strong arm; can make just about any throw asked of him. | ||
| Weaknesses: | ||
| Inconsistent with his decision making; trusts his arm too much. Played in a system which inflated his statistics. Very inconsistent. When things start to unravel he falls apart quickly and appears to struggle to regain confidence. | ||
| Comments: | ||
| Chappell has the basic skills necessary to succeed in the NFL – a strong arm and decent accuracy. His inconsistent performance doesn’t instill much confidence, but he has the raw ability that should get him a look. His improved performance from his junior to senior year is a good sign. His best football could still be ahead. | ||
