| Strengths: | ||
| Smart, hard-working player that coaches have nothing but great things to say about. A decent athlete for his size. Shows good quickness off the snap and does a nice job getting into the backfield with his speed off the edge. Has the ability to play linebacker in a 3-4 or end in a 4-3. Three-year starter who has been durable throughout his career. | ||
| Weaknesses: | ||
| Doesn’t have a wide array of pass rush moves; relies almost exclusive on his speed. Struggles to disengage from blocks if his initial burst doesn’t pull the offensive tackle out of position. Limited experience dropping into coverage; will be a bit of a project if he switches to linebacker. | ||
| Comments: | ||
| Acho lacks the elite physical skills to project as a 1st-round pick, but he’s a safe bet in the late 2nd or 3rd round. He’s a hard worker with enough talent to potentially develop into a quality starter. Coaches love to have high-character guys like Acho on the roster, so he should have no problem carving out a role for himself in the league. | ||
