| Strengths: | ||
| Four-year starter. Experience at guard and center. Looks very good in pass protection. Quick feet and good fundamentals makes up for lack of elite strength. Has the quickness to get to the second level at times. | ||
| Weaknesses: | ||
| Undersized; bulked up prior to draft but played around 285 pounds for much of his career. Lacks the strength to be a dominant run blocker. Doesn’t finish off any blocks. | ||

| Hudson is a very fundamentally sound and versatile lineman, however, he may simply lack the strength to play at the next level. He’s done a great job adding weight in the offseason, but if he can’t keep the weight on and maintain his quickness and fundamentals then he won’t be a starter at the next level. He’s a perfect example of a boom-or-bust prospect – I wouldn’t be shocked if he develops into a Pro Bowl and I wouldn’t be shocked if he’s nothing more than a very mediocre backup. | ||
