John Moffitt scouting report

John Moffitt OG Wisconsin
Ht: 6’4″

Wt: 320

Strengths:
Saw significant playing time throughout his career at both guard and center. A dominant run blocker. Solid fundamentals. Comes from a program that has produced multiple quality offensive linemen. Plays with a nasty demeanor and consistently finishes off blocks. A strong lower body allows him to hold his ground against bull rushers.
Weaknesses:
Limited athleticism. Will rarely get to the second level. Slow getting off the snap. May struggle with some of the more athletic interior linemen at the next level.
Comments:
Moffitt is a physical run blocker and could come off the board as early as the 2nd round to a team looking to fill that specific hole. Isn’t an elite prospect because he isn’t as well-rounded as some other guards in this year’s class, but he does have the potential to start in the NFL.
