| Strengths: | ||
| Plenty of experience; a three-year starter who also saw the field as a freshman. Excellent in run support. A physical player for his size; doesn’t back down from matchups with bigger receivers. A smart, fundamentally sound player. Rarely gets caught out of position. A tough player who played through injuries. | ||
| Weaknesses: | ||
| Arrested for aggravated assault against his girlfriend in 2010. Lacks the elite speed to recover from mistakes. Isn’t an elite athlete; will struggle to keep pace with quicker, more agile receivers at the next level. | ||
| Comments: | ||
| Patrick is sort of a corner/safety ‘tweener. His lack of elite athleticism and his ability to play the run makes him a candidate to transition to safety at the next level. However, he is smaller than your typical free safety. He has NFL talent, but he may struggle to find a role that fits him. | ||
