| Impressive size and strength. Elite athleticism for his size; a star basketball player in high school. Has the tools to play 3-4 end or 4-3 tackle. Shows a good bull rush but also enough athleticism to develop other pass rush moves. Does a nice job getting arms up into passing lanes; uses his height to his advantage in that respect. | ||

| Limited experience against top competition; would have benefited from staying in school for another year. Doesn’t hold up as well at the point of attack against the run as you would expect for someone his size. | ||

| Wilkerson is a potential 1st round pick but I have some concerns about his ability to make a smooth transition to the NFL. He struggled with double teams and struggled to shed blocks against the run, and that was in the MAC. A player with his raw physical tools should have been more dominant against that level of competition. In the late 2nd or 3rd round he’s well worth the risk, but I suspect someone will fall in love with his potential and take him in the top 50 picks. | ||
