Dane Sanzenbacher scouting report

Dane Sanzenbacher WR Ohio State
Ht: 5’10″

Wt: 182

Strengths:
A smart, fundamentally sound player. Great route runner. Best hands of anyone in this year’s draft class. A tough runner after the catch. Elite quickness; can easily shake the coverage of less athletic corners with a quick move.
Weaknesses:
Lacks the elite speed to stretch the field. Undersized; will struggle against bigger, more physical cornerbacks. Limited ability as a blocker.
Comments:
Sanzenbacher isn’t a No. 1 receiver and his upside is limited, but he is a safe bet to develop into a quality 2nd or 3rd option. More and more teams are looking for the next Wes Welker – a reliable receiver who can line up in the slot and make things happen after the catch – and Sanzenbacher fits that mold perfectly. In the right system he could be an instant-impact player.
