| Strengths: | ||
| A smart, fundamentally sound player. Great route runner. Best hands of anyone in this year’s draft class. A tough runner after the catch. Elite quickness; can easily shake the coverage of less athletic corners with a quick move. | ||
| Weaknesses: | ||
| Lacks the elite speed to stretch the field. Undersized; will struggle against bigger, more physical cornerbacks. Limited ability as a blocker. | ||
| Comments: | ||
| Sanzenbacher isn’t a No. 1 receiver and his upside is limited, but he is a safe bet to develop into a quality 2nd or 3rd option. More and more teams are looking for the next Wes Welker – a reliable receiver who can line up in the slot and make things happen after the catch – and Sanzenbacher fits that mold perfectly. In the right system he could be an instant-impact player. | ||
