| Impressive strength. Experience at defensive end in a 4-3 and most recently at linebacker in Todd Grantham’s 3-4 system. Excels as a pass rusher. Shows an impressive burst off the snap making him a nice speed rusher. | ||
| Weaknesses: | ||
| Sort of a ‘tweener. Doesn’t have the elite athleticism that most teams look for in a 3-4 outside linebacker. Doesn’t have the strength to be consistent against the run as a defensive end. Suspended during 2009 offseason for violating Georgia’s substance abuse policy. | ||

| Houston has most of the raw tools to succeed in the NFL, but I’m concerned about his lack of a position. Georgia’s defensive coordinator Todd Grantham found a perfect role for him in his 3-4 defense, but it makes me wonder if Houston was just a product of great college coaching. I don’t see him making a significant impact early on in his career and he may be more of a developmental prospect that you’d like to see in the 1st or 2nd round. That said, if his future team is willing to be patient and develop him properly he could turn into a star. He definitely has the raw talent to be a Pro Bowler at either linebacker or end. | ||
