Week 13
1.	Texas	11-0	The Longhorns are playing their best football of the year and should have no issues defeating Texas A&M and Nebraska to reach the title game.
2.	Florida	11-0	After a slow start, Tim Tebow is starting to look like the quarterback we're used to seeing lead the Gators.
3.	Alabama	11-0	Alabama's offense looked good in a tune-up against Chattanooga. But the Tide should be on upset alert next week at Auburn.
4.	TCU	11-0	TCU is one win away from locking up its first BCS berth. Only lowly New Mexico stands in their way.
5.	Cincinnati	10-0	The bye week came at the perfect time for Cincinnati. The Bearcats needed to regroup and recover from injuries.
6.	Georgia Tech	10-1	The ACC title game is set, and Georgia Tech will have to defeat Clemson for the second time this season.
7.	Ohio State	10-2	Terrelle Pryor has made major strides over the past few weeks. He's cut down on his mistakes and is making more plays with his legs.
8.	Boise State	11-0	After a slow start the Broncos have finally put together a string of big wins. But is it too little, too late to sneak into the BCS?
9.	Oregon	9-2	Oregon narrowly escaped with a win against Arizona but the Ducks remain the favorites to win the Pac-10.
10.	Pittsburgh	9-1	Pitt's bye week couldn't have come at a better time - right before their showdowns with West Virginia and Cincinnati.
11.	Oregon State	8-3	The winner of Oregon State-Oregon will go to the Rose Bowl. Never thought I'd say that with a straight face.
12.	Penn State	10-2	Penn State's offense turned in their most impressive performance of the season. Too little, too late.
13.	Mississippi	8-3	Ole Miss is finally living up to preseason expectations, but its not too late to get into a meaningful bowl game.
14.	LSU	8-3	Jordan Jefferson's spike at the end of the game was the least intelligent football play I have ever seen.
15.	Oklahoma State	9-2	Most high school quarterbacks could have performed better than Alex Cate did against Colorado. That was an embarrassing first half.
16.	Clemson	8-3	Clemson is one of the hottest teams in the nation right now, but I'm not sure their defense can stop Georgia Tech in the ACC title game.
17.	North Carolina	8-3	The Tar Heels have now rattled off four straight wins, derailing the ACC title hopes of Virginia Tech, Miami and Boston College in the process.
18.	Virginia Tech	8-3	Virginia Tech has quietly righted the ship after back-to-back losses to Georgia Tech and North Carolina.
19.	Iowa	10-2	Iowa's defense was brilliant against Minnesota. Where was that last week against Ohio State?
20.	California	8-3	Cal didn't miss Jahvid Best at all. They'll be in good hands with Shane Vereen if Best enters the draft.
21.	Stanford	7-4	Toby Gerhart did everything he possibly could to lead Stanford to victory, but he can't play quarterback too.
22.	USC	7-3	USC needs to win its final two games to remain in the top 25, and their defense needs to step up to make it happen.
23.	Miami FL	8-3	This is a poorly coached football team. They're talented, but no team loses focus as often as the Hurricanes.
24.	Nebraska	8-3	Its been an up and down season, but Nebraska has found its way into the Big 12 title game.
25.	Wisconsin	8-3	The Badgers defense simply didn't show up against Northwestern. It was a truly pathetic performance.

Week 12
1.	Texas	10-0	All the top teams have had some scares, but as of right now, Texas looks like the best team in the country.
2.	Florida	10-0	The Gators may have the nation's toughest defense, but their offense has not looked good lately.
3.	Alabama	10-0	Mark Ingram just continues to roll. The Tide will go as far as he takes them.
4.	TCU	10-0	The Horned Frogs are worthy of national championship consideration... if two of the top three lose.
5.	Cincinnati	10-0	The Bearcats narrowly kept their undefeated season alive. Not the type of statement they needed.
6.	Georgia Tech	10-1	The Yellow Jackets put Duke in their place on Saturday.
7.	LSU	8-2	What the heck against against Louisiana Tech? That was not a performance worthy of a top-10 team.
8.	Oregon	8-2	The Ducks loss to Stanford suddenly doesn't look so bad.
9.	Ohio State	9-2	Another year, another BCS berth for Jim Tressel's boys.
10.	Boise State	10-0	Finally the Broncos looked like a truly dominant team. Too many early-season close calls against bad teams for me to move them any higher though.
11.	Pittsburgh	9-1	Pitt hasn't faced a rank team all season. They are not a top-10 team until they defeat Cincinnati.
12.	Oklahoma State	8-2	Oklahoma State quietly keeps winning and is still in the mix for an at-large BCS berth.
13.	Oregon State	7-3	If the Beavers win out (at Washington, at Oregon) they have an excellent chance to the Rose Bowl.
14.	Stanford	7-3	Toby Gerhart suddenly looks like the most dominant running back in the game.
15.	Penn State	9-2	Penn State is still alive for a share of the Big Ten title, but no Rose Bowl for them this year.
16.	Wisconsin	8-2	See Penn State.
17.	Virginia Tech	7-3	This has been a disappointing year for the Hokies, and they're now officially out of the ACC championship game picture.
18.	Clemson	7-3	The Tigers control their own destiny for a BCS berth.
19.	Miami FL	7-3	Remember when The U was back? September feels like a long time ago.
20.	Iowa	9-2	Iowa performed far better than anyone could have expected in The Horseshoe.
21.	USC	7-3	A young team is an excuse for a couple losses, but not for getting blown out by Stanford at home.
22.	Arizona	6-3	Arizona controls its own destiny for a Rose Bowl berth.
23.	Nebraska	7-3	Nebraska appears to be headed back to the Big 12 title game. Do they have an upset in them?
24.	North Carolina	7-3	It looks like its starting to click for Butch Davis' crew. Maybe next year it will all come together.
25.	Utah	8-2	Devestating loss to TCU on Saturday. The Utes defense just isn't the same as last year.

Week 11
1.	Florida	9-0	With the SEC title game set, is there any chance the Gators get caught looking ahead by South Carolina or Florida State?
2.	Texas	9-0	Colt McCoy is getting better each week. The Longhorns can book their ticket to Pasadena.
3.	Alabama	9-0	Mark Ingram stated his case for the Heisman against LSU as the Tide wrapped up the SEC West.
4.	Cincinnati	9-0	Cincinnati may get its first test of the season against West Virginia on Friday night.
5.	TCU	9-0	The Horned Frogs face their final test this Saturday against Utah. If they win, they essentially clinch a BCS berth.
6.	Georgia Tech	9-1	The Yellow Jackets can clinch an ACC title game berth with a win over Duke this weekend.
7.	LSU	7-2	LSU is easily the best two-loss team, with losses to two of the top three teams in the nation.
8.	Oregon	7-2	Tough loss to Stanford, but Oregon still controls its own destiny in the Pac-10. Their resume still stands out above the rest of the two-loss teams.
9.	Miami FL	7-2	The Hurricanes resume looks better as Georgia Tech keeps winning. Their only losses are at Virginia Tech and a close call against Clemson.
10.	Ohio State	8-2	Ohio State continues to improve each week. Terrelle Pryor did a great job taking what Penn State's defense gave him on Saturday.
11.	Iowa	9-1	Realistically, Saturday's loss meant nothing. Iowa had no chance of playing for the national title, and they still can clinch the Big Ten vs Ohio State this weekend.
12.	USC	7-2	This is the worst offense Pete Carroll has had since 2001. And they're still a top-15 team, that's how good they've been since he took over.
13.	Boise State	9-0	I'm struggling to even put Boise State this high. If they played in the SEC... heck, if they played in the Big East, they would 6-3 at best.
14.	Penn State	8-2	The Nittany Lions will be shut out of the BCS - a devastating reality considering how favorable their schedule was this season.
15.	Pittsburgh	8-1	Pittsburgh will have its chance to prove its case against Cincinnati on the final weekend. Until then I'm remaining skeptical of their inflated record.
16.	Houston	8-1	The way Houston's played the past few weeks they're lucky to still be alive in the C-USA West, much less to still be ranked.
17.	Oklahoma State	7-2	Oklahoma State has a very realistic chance to run the table. Could they sneak into the BCS as an at-large?
18.	Wisconsin	7-2	Wisconsin's only losses are against Iowa and Ohio State. They could run the table and make a push towards the top 15.
19.	Arizona	6-2	Arizona is still alive in the Pac-10, but they have a brutal schedule down the stretch.
20.	Virginia Tech	6-3	The Hokies are tied with Duke in the ACC Coastal. That's just embarrassing.
21.	Oregon State	6-3	All three losses have been to ranked teams. The Beavers still have a chance to make a statement against Oregon.
22.	Utah	8-1	Utah hasn't looked good against a weak schedule. But they can prove that they're for real at TCU this weekend.
23.	Clemson	6-3	Clemson is one of the hottest teams in the nation right now, and could still win the ACC and wind up in the BCS.
24.	Stanford	6-3	Jim Harbaugh is going to be candidate some high-profile jobs sooner rather than later. Could Michigan come calling if they part ways with Rich Rodriguez?
25.	Nebraska	6-3	Nebraska's defense is as good as its been in awhile. Now if only they could find some offense....

Week 10
1.	Florida	8-0	Facing Georgia's secondary is a good way to break out of an offensive slump. The Gators are No. 1 until they lose.
2.	Texas	8-0	After a slow start, the Longhorns are finally living up to expectations. They will waltz into the National Championship Game.
3.	Alabama	8-0	Greg McElroy has really struggled lately. LSU poses a serious threat to the Tide's hopes at an SEC West title.
4.	Cincinnati	8-0	How good is Brian Kelly? He keeps trotting out new quarterback and he just keeps winning.
5.	LSU	7-1	The Tigers defense is up for the challenge of facing Alabama, but is Jordan Jefferson ready for their defense?
6.	TCU	8-0	We knew TCU's defense would be good, but did anyone expect Andy Dalton and the rest of the offense to look this dominant?
7.	Oregon	7-1	Oregon's win against USC validates their spot in the top 10. I rank them ahead of Boise State because they're schedule has been infinitely more difficult.
8.	Iowa	9-0	The Hawkeyes are just plain lucky to be undefeated. If they win the Big Ten, they'll have earned their place in the BCS, but they are not a title contender.
9.	Georgia Tech	8-1	The Yellow Jackets rushing attack is better than ever. They should cruise to into the ACC title game.
10.	Penn State	8-1	Penn State looked sluggish and disinterested for most of the game against Northwestern. That won't fly against Ohio State this week.
11.	Boise State	8-0	Boise State's offense is starting to get back on track. But no margin of victory against WAC opponents will impress me.
12.	USC	6-2	The Trojans defense was exposed on Saturday. Matt Barkley was fairly impressive though, and USC should be back in the top 10 next season.
13.	Ohio State	7-2	Jim Tressel has gotten creative on offensive the past two weeks. They still control their own destiny on the Big Ten.
14.	California	6-2	With losses to USC and Oregon, Cal fell off the radar. But they've been dominant since and are clearly the Pac-10's 3rd best team in my mind.
15.	Houston	7-1	After losing to UTEP and nearly losing to Southern Miss, maybe the Cougars are a little overrated.
16.	Miami FL	6-2	Jacory Harris led the Hurricanes to an impressive comeback against Wake Forest. They're the 2nd best ACC team, not that that means much.
17.	Oklahoma State	6-2	Oklahoma State played Texas much tougher than the score reflects. If Zac Robinson doesn't through two picks for touchdowns, its a different game.
18.	Oklahoma	5-3	The Sooners looked terrible against Kansas State. If Landry Jones is their future, they may have some issues.
19.	Notre Dame	6-2	Notre Dame's offense continues to cruise. Thanks to an easy schedule they may be able to finish 10-2.
20.	Pittsburgh	7-1	I'm not at all sold on Pitt. Yes, they're 7-1. But their one loss is to lowly North Carolina State.
21.	Wisconsin	6-2	John Clay and the Badgers ran all over Purdue. They should be able to win out and finish 10-2.
22.	Virginia Tech	5-3	Virginia Tech has some issues. Frank Beamer's teams simple don't lose at home to winless ACC teams.
23.	Arizona	5-2	The Wildcats have quietly climbed into 2nd place in the Pac-10. Unfortunately, they still have to play USC, Oregon and Cal.
24.	Utah	7-1	The Utes haven't been dominant, but they just keep winning. Their defense has been much better than expected this season.
25.	Oregon State	5-3	Oregon State has bounced in and out of the top 25 all season. They could make a statement against Cal this weekend.

Week 9
1.	Florida	7-0	Two straight games against unranked teams decided by a combined 13 points? Florida is still No. 1, but they've shown they can be beat.
2.	Alabama	8-0	The Tide have been absolutely terrible in the red zone. Greg McElroy needs to start making some plays.
3.	Texas	7-0	Colt McCoy is starting to look like the McCoy of 2008. That's bad news for the rest of the Big 12.
4.	USC	6-1	If the Trojans can win at Oregon this weekend, they will run the table and be in excellent position to make a push at the title game.
5.	Iowa	8-0	The Hawkeyes next two games are at home against Indiana and Illinois. They'll be 10-0 heading into Columbus where they haven't won since 1991.
6.	Cincinnati	7-0	No Tony Pike, no problem. The Big East is joke, and Cincinnati should cruise to a conference title even without their star quarterback.
7.	LSU	6-1	The Tigers defense has been absolutely dominant at times this season. They scrimmage Tulane this weekend before heading to Alabama.
8.	TCU	7-0	The Horned Frogs made a statement at BYU on Saturday. They are the best non-BCS team, no questions asked.
9.	Georgia Tech	7-1	Georgia Tech now controls its own destiny to earn a trip to the ACC title game and an easy schedule makes that very likely.
10.	Oregon	6-1	You rank teams based on their entire body of work, not based off one week. That's why I have Oregon ranked well ahead of Boise State.
11.	Virginia Tech	5-2	Thanks to Miami's loss to Clemson, the Hokies now need to win out AND have Georgia Tech suffer another loss to return to the ACC title game.
12.	Penn State	7-1	Penn State's win over Michigan was a mini statement game. Their defense is starting to hit its stride.
13.	Oklahoma State	6-1	One of the biggest games in school history awaits on Saturday at Texas. With a win, the Cowboys become the favorite in the Big 12.
14.	Boise State	7-0	Yes, they'll probably go undefeated. But this is the worst Boise State team in a few years. They need Oregon to beat USC this weekend.
15.	Ohio State	6-2	Terrelle Pyror actually resembled a competent quarterback in the second half on Saturday. If he gets hot, they may regain their spot as the Big Ten favorite.
16.	South Carolina	6-2	The Gamecocks are having their best season under Steve Spurrier. Finishing with a 9-3 record is a realistic possibility.
17.	Miami FL	5-2	That was a devastating loss to Clemson on Saturday. The Hurricanes are now a long shot to win the ACC and return to the BCS>
18.	Houston	6-1	The Cougars should win out, but nothing they do can make up for the fact that they lost to UTEP by 17.
19.	Oklahoma	4-3	Landry Jones is no Sam Bradford, but he just might be the third best quarterback in the Big 12 behind McCoy and Zac Robinson.
20.	California	5-2	Both losses were to top 10 teams (USC and Oregon) and Cal has demolished everyone else on its schedule.
21.	Notre Dame	5-2	The Irish could easily be 2-5 or even 1-6. But as long as they've got Jimmy Clausen, they're capable of beating anyone.
22.	West Virginia	6-1	The Big East is the 7th best conference in the nation, but it is shaping up to be one of the best races and the Mountaineers are right in the mix.
23.	Mississippi	5-2	Jevan Snead is back on track after a few miserable games. The Rebels offense might be the most potent in the SEC>
24.	Pittsburgh	7-1	Their record is impressive, but you can't overlook the fact that they lost to N.C. State. This just shows how bad the Big East is this year.
25.	Arizona	5-2	Arizona is 5-2, but may still be a long shot to make a bowl with games remaining at Arizona State, Cal and USC and at home against Oregon.

Week 8
1.	Florida	6-0	Every team gets a scare throughout the course of the season. Despite a near hiccup against Arkansas, the Gators are still the team to beat.
2.	Alabama	7-0	Mark Ingram is just getting better as the season wears on and may be the Heisman favorite at this point in time.
3.	Texas	6-0	Texas has not been nearly as dominant as expected. They are certainly capable of losing either of their next two games.
4.	USC	5-1	Matt Barkley made some freshman mistakes, but the defense looked good in their toughtest test of the season at Notre Dame.
5.	Iowa	7-0	I don't know how they're doing it, but Iowa just keeps on winning. They won't be tested against until Nov. 14 at Ohio State.
6.	Cincinnati	6-0	Tony Pike's injury could put their championship hopes in jeopardy. But then again, they won the Big East in 2008 with four different quarterbacks.
7.	LSU	5-1	With a game at Alabama remaining, LSU is not out of the national title hunt
8.	Miami FL	5-1	Georgia Tech's win over Virginia Tech puts Miami back in position to have a shot at an ACC title if it wins out.
9.	Georgia Tech	6-1	If the Yellow Jackets win out they clinch, at worst, a share of the ACC Coastal title with Miami and Virginia Tech.
10.	TCU	6-0	TCU will get its first shot at a ranked opponent this weekend when it pays a visit to BYU.
11.	Oregon	5-1	Its tough to rank Oregon ahead of Boise, but one close loss on the road at the beginning of the season can be forgiven.
12.	Virginia Tech	5-2	The Hokies may end up as the best team on the outside of the BCS picture with two losses to potential top 10 teams.
13.	Penn State	6-1	The Nittany Lions offense has been hit or miss all season, but their defense has been getting better as the season wears on.
14.	Oklahoma State	5-1	The Cowboys are quietly cruising along and could shoot up the rankings in two weeks when they get a shot at Texas.
15.	Boise State	6-0	Think Boise State is a top-five team? Could you imagine Alabama or Florida or even Virginia Tech beat Tulsa by only a touchdown?
16.	South Carolina	5-2	The Gamecocks don't have any great wins but their losses were close games at Georgia and at Alabama.
17.	Ohio State	5-2	The Buckeyes loss to Purdue was arguably the most shocking upset of the season.
18.	BYU	6-1	The Cougars have a chance to redeem themselves for their early-season loss to Florida State this weekend against TCU.
19.	Oklahoma	3-3	If Bradford doesn't get healthy the Sooners will fall from the rankings quickly.
20.	Houston	5-1	I don't feel the need to put Houston ahead of Oklahoma State because the Cougars loss to UTEP is arguably the worst of any ranked team.
21.	Texas Tech	5-2	The Red Raiders could easily be undefeated after playing Texas tough and going right to the wire with Houston.
22.	South Florida	5-1	A tough loss to Cincinnati proved that South Florida is for real, but their BCS hopes will need to be delayed another season.
23.	Notre Dame	4-2	Jimmy Clausen proved against USC that he is the best quarterback in the country and the Irish are a threat to win out.
24.	Kansas	5-1	Kansas was clearly looking ahead to this week's matchup with Oklahoma when they got tripped up by lowly Colorado over the weekend.
25.	Wisconsin	5-2	Despite two straight losses, Wisconsin hangs around in the top 25. They played Iowa tough and could easily finish with a 10-2 record.

Week 7
1.	Florida	5-0	After beating LSU, its tough to imagine them not running the table in the regular season.
2.	Alabama	6-0	The Tide have a case for No. 1, but until Florida loses the Gators get the benefit of the doubt.
3.	Texas	5-0	Another sluggish start against Colorado this week. Colt McCoy has been terribly inconsistent in the 1st half of games.
4.	Virginia Tech	5-1	Saturday at Georgia Tech should be the Hokies last true test of the regular season.
5.	USC	4-1	The Trojans defense will be put to the test this weekend against Notre Dame. The offense, however, should have a field day.
6.	LSU	5-1	Tough loss to Florida, but the Tigers defense proved it is for real.
7.	Ohio State	5-1	The defense continues to exceed expectations; Terrelle Pryor, not so much.
8.	Cincinnati	5-0	The Bearcats have had a week to prepare for South Florida, the only currently ranked opponent on their schedule.
9.	Miami FL	4-1	After crushing Florida A&M, the Hurricanes have another midseason scrimmage against UCS on Saturday.
10.	Iowa	6-0	If the Hawkeyes survive Saturday's tilt at Wisconsin, Iowa should be 10-0 heading into its matchup in Columbus on Nov. 14.
11.	Nebraska	4-1	After nearly benching Zac Lee, the Huskers offense exploded in the 4th quarter. Could they be the 2nd best team in the Big 12?
12.	Georgia Tech	5-1	The offense is as explosive as ever, but the defense has been a huge disappointment. Christian Ponder picked them apart on Saturday.
13.	Boise State	5-0	I can't justify putting the Broncos any higher than this after their struggles with Cal-Davis two weeks ago.
14.	Oregon	5-1	If only the Ducks offense had shown up on opening weekend... LaMichael James is looking like one of the top freshmen in the country.
15.	TCU	5-0	TCU's defense is menacing, but the offense has struggled. Air Force nearly ended their cinderella hopes this weekend.
16.	BYU	5-1	Cougars have a tune up this weekend against San Diego State before their showdown with TCU.
17.	Oklahoma	3-2	Bradford is back, but will he be the same player without all his offensive weapons from last season?
18.	Penn State	5-1	With a weak remaining schedule it will be tough for Penn State to move up in the rankings unless they defeat Ohio State.
19.	Oklahoma State	4-1	The Cowboys didn't miss Dez Bryant against Texas A&M, but the defense struggled to slow down the Aggies.
20.	Kansas	5-0	The Jayhawks defense looked like anything but a top-20 team, but, they are undefeated so they'll hang around for another week.
21.	South Carolina	5-1	South Carolina has a chance to prove itself at Alabama this weekend.
22.	South Florida	5-0	USF's schedule has been slightly more difficult than a high school team. However, they can make a statement on Saturday against Cincinnati.
23.	Arkansas	3-2	Its been a roller coaster season, but Ryan Mallett seems to be getting more comfortable in Bobby Petrino's offense.
24.	Auburn	5-1	Too many mistakes killed Auburn on Saturday. Their offense is much improved and should remain competitive in the SEC.
25.	Wisconsin	5-1	Tough loss against the Buckeyes. The offense easily out-gained Ohio State, but committed far too many mistakes to recover from.
